A couple of my car friends told me about this outrageous event at the Thompson Speedway in East Thompson, CT back in August 2022. A group of drivers racing cars around the track with the goal of finishing the race without having their cars break down or catch fire. The event, hosted by 24 Hours of Lemons, encourages enthusiasts around to country to race their $500 cars with the simple goal of just finishing the race. The drivers in this race can get pretty creative with the design of their cars. It is a blast to watch!
