After waiting through months of cold, damp and sometimes monsoon-like weather here in New England, I welcomed the warmer weather and beginning of car show season. Every Friday during the summer, the Rhode Island Chevy Owners Association holds a car show at local supermarket parking lot. Perfect opportunity to break out my camera to take some photos of some vintage and unique vehicles.
When take photos of cars and other vehicles I try to focus on how I frame them in the photo by trying a different angle or capturing a unique detail of the car that others might not see. The best part of capturing cars from this show is the lighting. I usually show up to this event in the early evening right when the balance between light and shadow is perfect.
